So I stopped by Fontana Pharmacy the other day and treated myself to some new makeup :) I've been using these products for over a week now and figured that was enough time to write a review for you guys... take a look!
L'OREAL True Match Super Blendable Powder:So being a MAC powder user all my life, it was a bit dubious to venture into the world of L'OREAL powders, however I figured I would try the True Match because it is so reasonably priced. Also, I believe this is the product they use on TVJ's Smile Jamaica and I've actually loved the coverage I get when the MUA do touch up's.
L'OREAL breaks the powders up in three different categories: warm/neutral/cool, and that makes it easier to determine your true match, hence the name. It offers light to medium coverage for all skin types, but if you have oily skin this is perfect for you. I have dry skin so after prepping my face with a light moisturizer and some concealer I used a powder brush and lightly applied it all over my face. I would recommend tossing the sponge that comes with it all together and use a brush or a better blending sponge if you need more coverage.
I've been using it for a week with no breakouts and my face looks finished after just a little powder. It does have a matte finish so, if like me you're concerned about looking too cakey, simply use a light spritz of setting spray. All in all I love the product and I'll be getting a darker colour to use as a contouring powder.
REVLON 3D Volume Mascara:
Now, after you get so accustomed to wearing false lashes, it is hard to find the mascara that can give you the peepers that you're after, but for everyday running around I would say that this little guy could very well be my go to mascara. If you apply a second coat quickly before the first coat dries it will give you maximum effect. It washes off easily and doesn't require eye makeup remover (I didn't get the waterproof variety).
L'OREAL Lineur Intense Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner:
The Lineur Intense liner comes in two varieties, a brush tip and a felt tip and Fontana Pharmacy has both varieties. In my opinion a brush tip liner gives a more precise line to perfect a clean winged cat eye. However, if you are new to applying the cat-eye, I would recommend using the felt tip. Yes, with a liquid liner- it really boils down to the applicator and how steady your hands are. So this product doesn't have the most attractive bottle, but it's what's on the inside that counts! this little bottle packs a big punch and the 'carbon black' colour gives a striking bold line. It comes off easily and no remover is required.
After it dries, it does look a little shiny, and I would recommend that you use a black eye pencil on the upper water line before drawing your winged eye. Also, it does need some drying time, so after I applied the liner I used a piece of paper to fan it dry.
ESSIE Polish- 'After School Boy Blazer'
The neckalce in set is also from Fontana Pharmacy and I've gotten so many messages about it, everyone is shocked when I tell them where I got it- But hey! I tell them, Fontana has everything! lol

Thanks for reading- I know I wrote a little more than normal today, but I wanted to be thorough and fair. Please let me know if you've tried any of these products or if you have any others to recommend.
