DIY: 1 Scarf - 6 Ways

Hi Everyone!

As seen in today's Flair Magazine in The Gleaner, a simple DIY that everyone can attempt.
Be creative and have fun with brightly coloured scarves this spring and summer; often times one small item can transform an outfit and lift our spirits. If you do not own a scarf, you can buy 2 yards or any printed fabric and start transforming already owned pieces.

Please like the Gleaner Lifestyle  page on Facebook for weekly updates in Flair and Outlook Magazines.

  • Sexy Casual : Bow-front cropped top, worn with denim cut offs. Simply tie over a strapless bra then form a full bow.

  • Business Chic : Wear as a tank under a suit; tie in the back and let the scarf fall loosely.

  • Bohemian Chic: Tie scarf around your head with the knot low at the nape of the neck, wear with a long flowing skirt and add some wooden bangles to complete the hip bohemian look.

  •    Dressy Casual : Drape the scarf over your body and use safety pins at the side. Belt the scarf and wear as a tunic over skinny jeans and platform pumps or stilettos for an easy date night outfit.

  •  Casual Cool : Wear the scarf as a belt in shorts and add wedges for a stylish and comfortable look.

  • Cocktail : Add some punch to a classic LBD using a tropical scarf when on vacation.
