Petite Fashion Challenge : The Fashionators : DIY Fascinator

 Hi Everyone!

KTRstyle Posted a challenge about fascinators titled: The Fashionators, truth be told I didn't even know what a fascinator was until I Googled it;  described by Wikipedia as 'A headpiece, originally referred to a fine, lacy head covering akin to a shawl and made from wool and lace, but mostly feathers. In the modern usage it refers to a woman's alternative to a hat for a formal attire; it is usually a large hair decoration on a band or clip with elaborate trimmings.'

I accepted the challenge not because I have any hopes of winning but to see if  I would be able to make the posting deadline as I am a renowned  procrastinator.  Of course I left everything to the last minute and then instead of buying a fascinator I decided I would make one. They say: kill 2 birds with one stone, right? So my first time entering a blogging challenge and my very first DIY fascinator... Well, I am happy to say that I have made the deadline and I am honoured to be involved in anything that KTRstyle is doing as she sets the bar for blogging for me and I learn something new from her everyday. She is by far the expert on arm swag/arm candy; take a look at her blog and you will agree, they are never too much and always done to perfection.

Tulle Skirt: BCBG (similar) // Top & Clutch: Jeng Beng Mandeville // Belt : From another dress // Shoes: Steve Madden

Thanks for reading, wishing everyone a great day, and please stay tuned for the step by step instructions on the fascinator :)
